How to create a Microsoft account?
If you use an email address and password to log in to a Microsoft service such as Hotmail, Outlook, Messenger or Xbox Live, you already have a Microsoft account and can use it to log in to any console or Xbox service.

If you do not have a Microsoft account, you can easily create one by visiting the Create an account page and following the instructions. You can use any email address you use normally or, if you prefer, we will help you create a new email address of @ outlook.com.

If you want to change the email address you use for your Microsoft account, you can update it in account.microsoft.com. Once you have logged in, select Your information and then select Manage how to sign in to Microsoft.

Currently, you can not move your services from one Microsoft account to another. This option may be available in the future.

What is the security information of the Microsoft account and how is it managed?
