How to create a Microsoft account?
If you use an email address and password to log in to a Microsoft service such as Hotmail, Outlook, Messenger or Xbox Live, you already have a Microsoft account and can use it to log in to any console or Xbox service.

If you do not have a Microsoft account, you can easily create one by visiting the Create an account page and following the instructions. You can use any email address you use normally or, if you prefer, we will help you create a new email address of @ outlook.com.

What should I do if an error appears when trying to log in?
If you know your Microsoft account information but can not sign in to it, first confirm that there are currently no Xbox Live service alerts.
If there is no service alert, consult a list of possible errors to obtain information about the frequent error messages for logging in and the Microsoft account. How do I change, recover or remove the password I use to log in?

Recover the password if you have forgotten it

If you do not know the email address or password of your Microsoft account, use the Lost Account Solution or the Lost Password Solution.

How do I change the email address I use for my Microsoft account?
If you want to change the email address you use for your Microsoft account, you can update it in account.microsoft.com. Once you have logged in, select Your information and then select Manage how to sign in to Microsoft.

I have different Microsoft accounts for different services. How do I combine them?
Currently, you can not move your services from one Microsoft account to another. This option may be available in the future.

What is the security information of the Microsoft account and how is it managed?
When you change confidential information in an account, such as a password or contact information, we send a security code to a registered phone number or email address to make sure that the person making the changes to the account He is the owner of it.

All accounts must have at least one contact method, although we prefer that you indicate a phone number and an email address in case you lose access to one of them. You can see your security information by logging in to account.microsoft.com and selecting Security.
